nothingisordinary is a film photography project with a focus on light, colour, and composition. It reveals moments that create larger narratives. The project shows how streets, strangers, and interactions come together to form stories hidden within every day life.

Small street side food stall with a pink and white canopy, people preparing food, and a large mural of a woman in traditional attire on the wall behind.

Seeing more, in less.

nothingisordinary exists as a slower practice. Choosing film over digital is intentional, a return to patience, imperfection, and craft. It counteracts the disposable nature of modern image making, reminding us that it can be good to slow down and appreciate the process.

People using a photobooth on a city street. The booth has signs that read 'Automatic Photobooth,' 'Four Poses Only £5,' and 'Studio Quality! Step Right Up!'. One woman is inside the booth, smiling, with a pink curtain open. Two men are walking past, moving right to left.

Influenced by an appreciation for considered and well composed photography, nothingisordinary is a space for storytelling, creative expression, and a slower way of seeing.
